WHAT IS A FILLER FACELIFT?
A typical filler facelift will consist of hyaluronic acid fillers such as the Juvéderm collection, including Juvéderm Volbella® to plump lips for men or women, Voluma® to add fullness or definition to the cheeks, and Vollure™ for parenthesis lines, also known as nasolabial folds, between the nose and mouth.
Some non-surgical facelifts may also include botulinum toxin (like BOTOX®), laser skin resurfacing, chemical peels, microneedling, and other strategies combined with the filler injections.

FILLER FACELIFT: WHAT ARE THE BEST AREAS TO GET FILLERS?
What are the best areas of the face for dermal fillers? Usually, the most common areas of the face for fillers are on the center and lower portions. A filler facelift can address many common issues here by smoothing lines around the nose and mouth, restoring volume to temples and cheeks, reducing vertical lip lines, adding plumpness to thin lips, reshaping the lips for a natural look, and improving the overall symmetry or balance of facial features.
The targeted areas for a filler facelift typically include the temples, below the lower eyelids, sagging cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and creases beside the mouth.
Pierre Skin Care Institute offers many different types of fillers—such as Juvéderm Volux and Juvéderm Ultra XC—for enhancing various areas of the face. These are highly versatile treatments that can be customized for each patient. Fillers for under eyes, also known as fillers for tear troughs or “eyelid fillers,” add volume below the eyelids; hyaluronic acid lip fillers with Juvéderm Volbella® enhance the size and shape of lips; jawline filler (not currently available at the practice) provides a more defined or sharper appearance to the jaw area or jowls; and smile lines filler, also known as nasolabial folds filler, improves creases between the sides of the nose and corners of the mouth.

FILLER FACELIFT: DO FILLERS ADD VOLUME?
Many of the most common changes associated with aging—such as wrinkles and facial hollows or sagging—are caused by volume loss. A filler facelift is one way of restoring volume. These injections of fillers are designed to plump up your skin for facial volume restoration.
Patients can also have fillers to lift the face. For instance, injectors can place filler in the hairline to lift the face, providing a subtle lift to the eyebrows. You can also lift the lower face with fillers strategically placed to maximize their volumizing results.
WHICH COSMETIC TREATMENTS ARE AVAILABLE ASIDE FROM FILLER FACELIFT?
Pierre Skin Care Institute provides BOTOX®, a different type of wrinkle treatment that temporarily relaxes the facial muscles that contribute to dynamic wrinkles. There are also other types of skin rejuvenation strategies, such as intense pulsed light (IPL), chemical peels, and microneedling that can improve the general tone, texture, and appearance of the skin. Note that collagen-stimulating Sculptra® is not available, though Dr. Peterson Pierre can discuss the treatment and suggest alternatives.
